Flash Flash Click is open to submissions year round.

• While our tagline does say “fast fiction,” we realize the lines between fiction, nonfiction and poetry are blurry at best. So really, we’ll read any work of prose — so long as the piece contains fewer than 1000 words.
• We accept simultaneous submissions. Please let us know immediately if your story is accepted elsewhere.
• We accept multiple submissions, but each work must be sent as a separate submission.
• We only accept previously unpublished work. If your work has been published anywhere — even on a personal website — it is not for us. Upon acceptance, Flash Flash Click takes first serial rights to the work. After publication, all rights revert back to the author.
• Submissions are free. You have the option of sending us $3 through the tip jar with your submission to help us offset Submittable, Google Apps, web hosting, webmaster, and other costs. Tip jar submissions will get first priority, but we respond to all submissions within four weeks.
• Because Flash Flash Click is a new labor of love, we are unable to pay contributors — except with a small amount of fame and a lot of gratitude. We hope to offer more in the future.
